Jim Prescott / Luke Bonham Quartet

The Jim Prescott / Luke Bonham Quartet featuring Brian Myers and Dustin Hunley perform June 28, 2019 at the beer garden atop the Woodstock New Seasons, here in Portland Oregon.

Tenor-man Myers is engaging his rich modern tone to front this piano quartet through the classic jazz from the late forties to the modern era, including some original compositions from the rhythm section.  

"Oh man, this is a swinging group.  We like to get into the real classics, standards we like and the compositions and expressions of the post-bop era.  That music has a sweet balance between, like, letting the sounds ring - and the emotions that can bring out, and the raw passion for which the advanced techniques are put in service, dig?"  Said Prescott when reached for comment.  "These guys are right on time, we'll be swingin' right at six o'clock."
